Good Governance: South East Governors' Forum organises workshop for Open Government Partnership (OGP) Desk Officers

South-East Governors’ Forum on Monday, 12th November, 2018 organised a workshop for Open Government Partnership (OGP) Desk Officers in the states of the region.

The workshop was organised in Awka, the Anambra capital, in collaboration with the Department for International Development (DFID) under its Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL)) programme.

1. The Chairman, Nwaeze Dave Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, in his welcome remarks thanked the Governor of Enugu State for constantly hosting the Forum meetings and for his huge infrastructural development in the State. He also thanked the Director General and the Secretariat for the success of the first South East Conference on 2017 Capital Budget Implementation, as it affects the South East Region held in Enugu State.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE SOUTH EAST ECONOMIC SUMMIT HELD FROM THE 11TH - 13TH NOVEMBER 2017 AT THE NIKE LAKE HOTEL, ENUGU

PREAMBLE
The South East Economic Summit was held from November 11-13, 2017 in Enugu. The summit was organised by the South East Governors' Forum (SEGF) in collaboration with South East Regional Economic Development Corporation (SEREDEC), UK Department for International Development (DFID) and its implementation organ (PERL), NDIGBO and Entrepreneurship, Nzuko Umunna, Alaigbo Development Foundation, Ndigbo in Lagos, South East Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ohaneze and other development organs of Igbo land.
